Plastic...colorsRus, Inc. Announces Name Change (PlasticolorsRus) Philadelphia
– January 2, 2003
- Plasti...colorsRus, Inc., a Philadelphia-based Color Concentrate Manufacturer,
announced today that they will conduct business under the company name
"Plasticoncentrates®, Inc." The company maintains
that the name change truly reflects the markets served, as it enters into
its second year of operation with strong sales and an expanding customer base.
“What we do is manufacture Plastic Concentrates, and I cannot think of
a more appropriate name than Plasticoncentrates,” said Ed Tucker, President
and CEO of Plasticoncentrates, Inc. Ed
Tucker explained that the previous name, Plastic ColorsRus, Inc., while catchy,
created confusion in the market place with some prospective customers and
suppliers. In Plasticoncentrates ongoing
efforts to meet the demands of its current customers and expand it customer
base, they enlisted the assistance of The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business
Students to arrive at the new name. A
current customer survey indicates that the new name, Plasticoncentrates, Inc.,
is much preferred to the former. “Only
the name has changed. Everything
else associated with our company, for example, our tax ID, Incorporation
information, and exceptionally efficient services remains unchanged”, Tucker
said. The
Company was founded in February 2001, to address a critical gap in the coloring
of Plastics Industry. The company addresses demanding Color Technology
usually required for coloring High Temperature Engineering Plastics and
Thermoplastics Elastomers without sacrificing the integrity or performance
characteristics of the plastics. Plasticoncentrates, Inc. also addresses the problem of long inconsistent lead times by providing speeds of up to 24 hours turnaround on Color Matches and orders.
